L-phill, whose real name is Lebogang Monare, is an South African rapper from Tembisa, Gauteng. He has been active in the hip hop scene since 2013 and is known for his fresh and innovative approach to hip hop, while still retaining the essence of the authentic 90's boom bap hip-hop era. , with the 'consciousness'.
Since 2013, L-phill has been performing across several battle evente, often emerging victorious. He gained recognition with the debut of his first official studio album/Ep "Musket," in 2019. He is also known for collaborating with artists like Double-Dash, K.E_Skelem King, Dj achie on the beat, Lakoh,DaZkt, Ls De Rapper, and many more.
As of 2024, he is recognized as a significant figure in Tembisa hip hop scene.Releasing his 4th studio project "LostKonnexion II"
